Celebrating 2 Years with Dr. Stark

It is astonishing that it has been almost 2 years since Dr. Stark joined the practice. The time has flown by. I can honestly say it has been a joy to mentor this young professional. Many of you know that I have had associate doctors previously in the practice who have come and gone for one reason or another. After spending this time with Dr. Stark, I can honestly say that he has far exceeded my expectations. Under my tutelage, Dr. Stark has become proficient in all the specialties necessary to provide the comprehensive clinical care that Barotz Dental is renowned for. He has learned to do root canal therapy with proficiency and has increased his knowledge and abilities in implant dentistry as well as clear aligner orthodontics. He has provided exquisite cosmetic smile makeovers for our well-deserving patients which has changed their lives immensely for the better. He has also mastered LANAP laser gum therapy which has helped patients save teeth once thought hopeless.

What impresses me most about Dr. Stark is his initiative, his inquisitive mind and passion to do dentistry at the highest level. He has introduced PRF regenerative therapy to the practice which allows us to regenerate bone with significantly better results than in the past. This therapy has also allowed us to provide microneedling for facial esthetics, which rejuvenates the skin in amazing ways. He continually pursues advanced continuing education and approaches me daily with new ideas and procedures. Dr. Stark is passionate about lifelong learning and enjoys sharing his knowledge to inspire and educate others. Oh, and did I say his dentistry is meticulously excellent?!

Having Dr. Stark as a colleague has been a perk for me in many ways. He provides an academic interplay which keeps me super charged. He has challenged me when appropriate (and I am happy to say I have satisfied his challenges in every case). He is saving my back by doing much of the hands-on dentistry I used to do, which also enables me to have more free time out of the office to enjoy my grandkids and other hobbies.

I consider Dr. Stark to be the future of Barotz Dental and feel extraordinarily blessed and grateful every day to have him on the team

Get to Know Jessy!

Jessy joined our practice with a passion for patient care and a genuine love for dentistry. Her journey began in 2023 after completing her dental assisting program. Born and raised in Denver, Jessy brings a warm and friendly presence to our team. She enjoys reading and spending quality time with family and friends.

Though still early in her career, Jessy is eager to learn and grow. She has embraced every opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills, and we’re thrilled to have her as part of our team.

Patient Feedback

Dr. Barotz, Dr. Stark and all of the staff in the office are amazing! I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist and needed ALOT of work done. Not only did Cheryl, Amanda and all of the staff make me feel comfortable every time I have had to go in, Dr. Barotz and Dr. Stark did the same and have done amazing work! They gave me my smile back and I am forever grateful for them helping me through the process and proud to smile again! I highly recommend this office especially if you have high anxiety like I do, you won’t regret going to any appointment! — Danielle J

A New Year, A New Smile!

A new year is the perfect time to focus on yourself—and your smile. If you’ve ever looked at a photo or caught your reflection and wished your smile felt more like you, you’re not alone. Many adults delay cosmetic dentistry or comprehensive solutions for missing or failing teeth, but advances in modern dental care now make full-mouth restoration more accessible, predictable, and comfortable.

You’ve spent years caring for others—now may be the ideal time to do something just for you.

Rejuvenate Your Skin Naturally With Microneedling!

We’re excited to offer a natural and effective way to refresh your skin: microneedling with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin). This gentle, non-surgical treatment helps reduce signs of aging and improve skin texture by using your body’s own healing power.

What Is PRF?

PRF is derived from your own blood and is rich in growth factors that promote healing and stimulate collagen production. It is completely natural, with no additives or chemicals, making it an excellent option for those seeking a holistic approach to skin rejuvenation.

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling uses tiny needles to create microchannels in the skin, which stimulates collagen and elastin production. When combined with PRF, the results are enhanced, improving skin tone, texture, and firmness more effectively.

Key Benefits

  • Softens fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improves skin tone and texture

  • Reduces acne scars and blemishes

  • Brightens dull or tired skin

  • Completely natural with no synthetic fillers

Why at Barotz Dental?

As dental professionals, we have extensive expertise in facial anatomy and aesthetics. This treatment naturally complements smile makeovers, helping you achieve a healthy, refreshed look from every angle.

Is It Right for You?

Flossing Protects More Than Your Smile - A Message from Robbin, your Dental Hygienist!

Daily flossing helps prevent cavities and gum disease—but did you know it may also protect your brain and heart? A new study presented at the American Stroke Association’s annual meeting found that people who floss at least once a day enjoy surprising health benefits:

22% LOWER RISK OF STROKE caused by blood clots in the brain
44% LOWER RISK OF STROKE from clots traveling from the heart
12% LOWER RISK OF ATRIAL FIBRILLATION (A-FIB), an irregular heartbeat that increases stroke risk

Researchers believe the link comes down to inflammation. Gum disease and oral infections can trigger inflammation throughout the body, contributing to hardened arteries and cardiovascular problems. By keeping gums healthy, flossing reduces that risk

The takeaway? Flossing is one of the simplest ways to care for your whole body. Make it a daily habit, and you’re not just protecting your smile—you’re protecting your longterm health. I look forward to seeing you at your next continuing care appointment!
